Imagine dedicating your life to the pursuit of one dream, achieving that dream and then having it ripped away from you. Meet Hunter Knighton. His dream was to be a Division I college football player. He thought he had achieved his dream when he joined the University of Miami.
During the off season in 2014, Hunter collapsed on the training field and was rushed to the hospital. Twelve days later he awoke from his medically induced coma into the realization he may never play football again.
He told his mom, "I came to Miami to be a player, not a patient. I am going to play again."
